After a prolonged round 3, we finally have a winner. But can I just say what an addition the Balaklava Cup was yesterday!
On Saturday we had 8 tipsters correctly bet $100 on Incentivise at $4.30. So with Winning Partner getting smashed late in betting yesterday to $3.80 it looked likely that the round winner would be one of these 8 (unless of course you had $100 on Classy Joe to place – which nobody did). But surprisingly there was only one! And it was none other than the two-time champion James Rodda, who had $100 on Winning Partner, to take his round tally to $610.
Chriso was valiant in 2nd, but went $100 place on Winning Partner to finish on $410 for the round. This meant we had six tipsters tied on $230 in the round including Doc, The Fossil, Ben Searle, Ben O’b, Monz and Stug.
Overall, Doc still has the lead on $1110, from Lachy on $700 and Rodda now moving into 3rd on $410.
