The G1 tipping leaderboard has been shaken up after a big week of results. Three upsets and a $1.20 winner to throw in the mix. Wild Ruler ($9.80) in the Moir, Vangelic ($8.00) in the Golden Pendant, In The Congo ($7.20) in the Golden Rose and of course the best horse since Winx (perhaps), Zaaki ($1.20) in the Underwood.
It was also nice to see each tipster finally get off the mark. Everyone has now had a return at some stage, even if its $100 on a $1.20 shot.
Speaking of $1.20 shots, who would’ve thought that this race has decided this week’s winner (or joint winners)….
We have a 3-way tie between Skinny, Ciaran (Rish) and Ryan (dogbet) – all with $700 profit for the week – who each had $100 on Wild Ruler and Zaaki. They will have to share the $50 weekly prize.
However we must send our commiserations to The Cat who had taken the club house lead with $30 on Wild Ruler and $100 on Vangelic, but went with Superstorm to Place in the Underwood!! He would end the round with a profit of $694, just $7 shy of winning outright.
Overall Ciaran has taken the lead on $1760, from Doc $1090 and Wardy $955. Only 12 tipsters remain in the positive after 5 rounds – . See full leaderboard here.
