They say the big rounds of tipping bring out the big guns and Round 5 was no exception with Benny Leal shooting a perfect 4/4! He had a $100 on each of the winners: SIR DELIUS ($2.18), SEPALS ($3.46), FANGIRL ($2.52) and JOLISTAR ($5.75) – thus scoring a profit of $991. Andrew Searle took second on $773 and The Cat continued his stellar form, to maintain his overall lead, with $645.
It’s worth noting that although Benny went 4/4, the highest possible score for the round would’ve been to have $100 place bets on GOLDEN PATH ($5.99) and FEROCE ($7.88), along with FANGIRL and JOLIESTAR. Proving that there is indeed more than one way to skin (and beat) a cat.
