Well another week of G1 tipping has provided another upset with MORNINGTON GLORY claiming the Moir Stakes at $10.35 BSP. Congrats to Douggg (aka the Stug), SimBet and Brock for putting their $100 on the nose and claim a share of the weekly prize. MORNINGTON GLORY actually opened at $21 and was gradually backed in during the week – I am still kicking myself for passing up $16 when I put my tips in on Wednesday. I AM ME claimed the Concorde Stakes paying $5.33, which was also backed in late. Boz, Searly and Snake all had $100 on. So far this spring the winners have paid $13.00, $16.01, $5.33 and $10.35, making for a challenging start to the tipping season. This week 13 tipsters finished in the positive. It also shows that there are different strategies being formed; $100 on the nosers, each way betters and many splitting win bets. It will be interesting to see how strategies play out. The best possible result this week would’ve been a $100 place bet on WAY TO THE STARS at $14.50.

Overall the leaderboard remains unchanged at the top with Rish and Shoggers tied on $1201, with Merc moving into 3rd on $1079.
The lead in the Captain Consistency is shared between Killa, Nato and Merc on 2 points (2 rounds in the positive, from 3 rounds).

Noting the poll was still open when Port lost last Thursday, this Friday could be a great result for the group. Congrats to the one bonehead who has tipped them to go all the way! Fair to say this person has no idea about AFL 😉, but we’ll let him off as he supports West Tigers 🐅🥄🥄🥄.
