A subdued start to the tipping season today as Anamoe held of a charging Fangirl to claim the Winx Stakes. Seven tipsters dumped their $100 on the favourite and claimed a share of the Round 1 prize. It appears that ‘in the spirit of the comp’ the $50 prize money will be jackpotted to the Round 2 Memsie Stakes, where it will most likely get jackpotted again.
