Well after a slow start to the season, the comp well and truly went BANG on Saturday! BSP lost it’s shit and blew the comp wide open. The tipping day started brightly with THINK IT OVER ($6.12 BSP) beating ZAAKI in the 7 Stakes, before the ‘almost’ 10 million in prize money horse MR BRIGHTSIDE ($1.95) romped to another G1. But the pyrotechnics exploded in The Shorts, with PRIVATE EYE blowing to $18 BSP and delivering the pelf for five astute tipsters. Top tote was only $12.40!!
Freezer had $100 on all three winners to profit $2307 for the round! Wardy was in second on $1806, with Law, Austin and Andrew Searle on $1500.
Overall, Law has taken the lead on $2252.75, from Freezer ($2190.30 and Austin ($1511.00)
In the weekly poll Hot Dub Time Machine took out the most preferred Grand Final Entertainment!! Hopefully a few of you are heading along to see the mighty Bays triumph this weekend!!
