Well it all went to script for racing’s darling in the Winx Stakes, but some astute tipping was the biggest talking point in Round 1. VIA SISTINA ($3.45 BSP) waltzed into spring with a convincing win, from AELIANA ($2.64 place) and ARAPAHO ($6.20 place). The six tipsters who dumped their $100 on VIA SISTINA would’ve been ecstatic with the price (excluding Rodda), but there were two new kids on the block who battled it out for the win. Wells.t@live.com (sorry, I don’t have any other details) had $80 on VIA and $20 place on ARAPAHO to profit $300. However, the Betfair Baron had $70 place on ARAPAHO to profit $334 and take home victory and the $50 prize! Who is the Betfair Baron? And did he have inside knowledge of the pricing? Perhaps he will reveal himself in coming weeks.
